Gym Amenities and Programming
In accordance with local guidelines, showers and water fountains will be temporarily unavailable upon reopening. Gyms with water bottle refill stations will have them available.
Masks and Gloves
Consistent with CDC and local guidelines, members are required to wear an acceptable mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times in the gym. Consistent with local guidelines, if you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons you will need to wear a face shield at all times in the gym. Bandanas, buffs, and gaiters are not acceptable masks. All Blink employees will be wearing masks and gloves at all times.
Health Screening and Temperature Checks
We will be taking the temperatures of our members and our employees and confirming responses to a health screening questionnaire as they enter the gym. Consistent with local guidelines, any member or employee with a temperature of 100.4°F or higher or who answers “Yes” to any of the following health questions will not be given access to the gym:
Been in close contact in the past 14 days with someone you know has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has or had symptoms of COVID-19;
Tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days;
Experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days; and
Traveled within a state with significant community spread of COVID-19 for longer than 24 hours within the past 14 days.
Consistent with CDC and local guidelines, Blink has upgraded our air filters to MERV-13 or HEPA for greater air filtration efficiency as it relates to COVID-19. In addition, we’ve reorganized gym layouts to further support local guidelines for social distancing. To keep members 6 feet apart, some cardio machines will be unavailable for use. Members are discouraged from engaging in free weight exercises requiring a spotter unless they have a member of their household with them.
Building on our already strong cleaning standards and consistent with local guidelines, members are required to disinfect equipment before and after each use.
PT clients with a scheduled appointment will have priority entry into the gym and should immediately proceed to see the greeter at the gym entrance or the Mood Lifters at the front desk to gain immediate access.
If you paid monthly membership dues for March 17 - March 31, Blink is offering you a credit option. Members must elect to:
1) redeem this credit for a 30 Minute Personal Training Session (PT session valued at approx. $42)
2) apply the credit, equal to dues paid March 17-March 31, to your next billing date
To select your Credit Option, please use this form. This form can be submitted at any time while you have an active membership.
If you have a paid-in-full membership, we will be automatically extending your agreement for the number of days the gym was closed.
Billing will resume when the gym opens (unless you choose to refreeze your membership). We will prorate membership dues for the remaining days in August and include this with your next month's dues. As a one time modification to the billing terms of your membership agreement, Blink will next bill you on September 10th for your prorate August dues and your dues for the month of September. This one time change will not permanently change your billing date or modify any other terms of your agreement.
